The wave-free and current-free cove less than two hours from Seville is considered one of the most beautiful in Andalusia: "It looks like a natural pool."

Less than two hours by car from Seville, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful coves in Andalusia, Cala del Aceite, located in Conil de la Frontera , Cádiz, and usually filled with bathers at this time of year on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
The cove faces south, the east wind is usually not bothersome , and there are hardly any waves, so it also benefits from being close to the Conil port breakwater. This makes it a "natural swimming pool" between cliffs.
It's also a natural setting ideal for families or friends, and there's a parking lot, especially during the summer months, where you can usually pay a euro or anything you like near the nearby campsite. There are also other coves worth visiting, such as Roche, Puntalejo, or Los Pitones, if you're visiting the Cádiz municipality.
On the other hand, if you continue south, you'll find great beaches like El Palmar, Zahora, the Trafalgar Lighthouse, and Caños de Meca on the way to Barbate. If you head toward the Cádiz capital, there are other enclaves like La Barrosa, Sancti Petri, and Camposoto, just a few kilometers from San Fernando.
Cala del Aceite is less than two hours from Seville if you take the AP-4 (the well-known Cádiz highway) and the A-4 to the aforementioned town. Then, take the A-48 and later the N-340, the CA-2131, the CA-3208, and the CA-4202 to reach this natural setting.
Please note that during these weeks, there may be traffic jams on the various detours mentioned above due to the number of vehicles heading toward the beaches, which often occur in areas of San Fernando or Conil de la Frontera.
